Meet Our Instructors Scott Cantor
Certified Master Instructor
Scott Cantor is the owner and operator of Pilates Central. He has been teaching Pilates since 1999. He holds advanced certifications from the Physical Mind Institute for equipment and mat work. Scott is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Scott has dedicated himself to helping others to be pain free and to regain and excel in their physical abilities. He has worked with Olympic Athletes as well as those with chronic pain and physical limitations. “I love helping people, help themselves, to a better living experience,” says Scott.
A long time High School, College, and Semi-Pro Baseball Player, Scott was just signed to play professional baseball during the summer of 2007 with the newly formed Israel Baseball League. Scott will be the oldest player in this league and credits Pilates as the key factor in allowing him to compete as a professional athlete. He also enjoys Soccer, Basketball, Track and Field, and Tennis and uses these skills to help his clients. He also has certification in the use of the Pilates Fitness Circle, Thera-Bands, and Fitness Balls.
Kim Wooley
Kim Woolley is a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body University. She is also certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Kim has been an avid runner for twenty years and has recently fulfilled her lifelong dream of running the NYC Marathon.
Although years of running made her feel strong, along came injuries and tight muscles. But soon after discovering Pilates, Kim was able to feel more balanced and flexible. She learned that Pilates helps lengthen your tight muscles and strengthen your weak ones. You learn to use your body as a whole unit. Pilates can be for anyone and everyone. You will feel energized and have a sense of overall well being. This mind body connection becomes a lifestyle. Not only do you change the way you look, but you change the way you feel and think.
Kim loves that people of any age and any fitness level can do Pilates. Kim truly enjoys sharing her passion for fitness and to inspire others so they can achieve their goals.
Kim regularly attends workshops and seminars to continue her education.
